I think now, with a new and fresh look, is a good time to write up about some of the current progress Gamer Plus has made. We currently have two game servers up. Their server monitors can be found on the right side of the site. One Team Fortress Classic server and one Counter Strike: Gun Game server. Both servers have recently been gaining popularity and some of the old Team Fortress players from "back in the day" have been making their appearance. We also have a new Teamspeak3 server up (68.48.204.19). It's been a long time since we have a consistent Teamspeak or Vent server up but we finally have a permanent one. And the fact that it has been getting use already is awesome. Remember that we always want to hear what YOU want from us. What else can we offer on our site? I was thinking of starting a scripting forum where you can submit your scripts and we can publish the good working ones in a scripting section on the website. Just an idea to play with. What else do you want? We are trying to slowing expand our site to offer more and more and we appreciate your help. To those of you who have been with us since the AA days (or further back to HS for some of you), thanks for sticking with us! Enjoy the site and keep coming back for good times. |

The downloads page is finally complete graphical wise. It looks very clean and organized now and integrates well with the site. Now that we offer a lot more functions at Gamer-Plus, we will need your help to fill all the little holes that require a lot of our time and yours. I am asking for anyone's help with this project. We would like to fill up the downloads page as much as possible, but, of course, this is not a one or two man's job. This will require the whole community's assistance and would be greatly appreciated by the G+ staff. If you are willing to help us out please register/login and submit a file for our download page. I have set the maximum upload limit per-file to 1 gig. This is a lot but I'm hoping you will make the right decision in either uploading a huge file or just using a offsite host that offers the download. All files that are too large, due to space/size issues, will be taken care of ASAP by Admins/Mods. If you have any questions about the downloads, please visit our forums and we would be more than happy to help you. -Thanks |

This is a quick and easy way to install won2 and start playing in no time.
If you have a half-life CD or Counter-strike retail pre 1.6, then skip this step.
If you don't have a half-life CD then download this: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=WJ0IBF6L. You will need to create a few folders for this to work properly. Go into your Hard drives main folder (C:) and create a folder called "Sierra" no quotes. Then inside Sierra, create another folder called Half-life. You will then install the rest of these files to that directory (Sierra/Half-life) inculding all the files above. Install that and now you should have half-life pre 1.5
Start here if you have a pre 1.6 half-life/CS CD
Next you want to download the half-life 1.5 patch also know as 1.1.1.0: files.filefront.com/hl1110exe/;986769;/fileinfo.html. Now you will be up to date and are able to play on any 1.5/won2 server. Unfortunately that patch lacks and in game server browser. Download this patch to get the won2 server browser in game: files.filefront.com/Half+Life+1111+Updat...64084;/fileinfo.html. Extract that to your Sierra Half-life or whatever directory the download from the first step created half-life. You should now have a fully functional won2 client. If you are going to play counter-strike then you will need to dll it seperately here: files.filefront.com/Counter+Strike+15+Fu...67157;/fileinfo.html You can use this CD Key when it asks for it: 3184344916820
